Households’ inflation expectations increase

In November 2023, estimated inflation expected by households in one year rose to 12.2% from 11.2% a month earlier, as shown by InFOM’s survey. Inflation expectations increased among respondents both with and without savings.
Five-year-ahead inflation expectations of households remained unchanged at 11.0%. The propensity to consume was up. Companies’ price expectations went down, although staying elevated.
