Annual inflation in most regions speeds up in September

Annual growth rates of food and non-food prices trended upwards in almost all Russian regions. Meat products, imported fruit, cars and motor fuels were among the main contributors to the price growth.

The annual increase in service prices sped up in a greater number of regions in September, which was predominantly associated with more expensive transportation and housing rent.
