NPFs’ returns exceed inflation

Over 2023 H1, weighted average returns on the pension savings and pension reserves of non-governmental pension funds (NPFs) reached 6.1% (12.5% per annum) and 5.6% (11.5% per annum), respectively.
As in 2023 Q1, the main sources of NPFs’ returns were a positive revaluation of shares and coupons on debt securities.
