Bank of Russia’s survey about electronic registration of securities issues
The Bank of Russia invites issuers to take part in a survey and share their opinion about whether the procedure for electronic registration of issue documents is sufficiently clear and convenient. Respondents can also list the difficulties they might face in the course of online communication with the regulator. The Bank of Russia welcomes any suggestions regarding improvements in the service.
Based on the findings of the survey, the Bank of Russia will be able to identify the main issues that might hinder the further development of the online service, explore the ways how to address them, and assess the future prospects of electronic registration to decide whether it should become mandatory and, if yes, for what groups of issuers.
The survey will be carried out from 12 July through 1 August 2023.
