Bank of Russia places data on points of access to financial services on Yandex Maps
The most comprehensive official data of the regulator that include all physical and mobile bank offices, post offices offering bank services, and offices of insurance companies, microfinance organisations, non-governmental pension funds and other financial institutions are now available on Yandex Maps.
This information is marked as Bank of Russia’s Data, and users can access it by choosing Banks and Finance in the geo search of Yandex Maps. The cards of financial institutions now show their legal details.
The Bank of Russia will regularly update the data on the locations marked on Yandex Maps.
This project will allow people to receive information in a comparable format and save time on checking its relevance, while authorities will be able to better coordinate their efforts in order to enhance financial inclusion in remote, hard-to-reach and sparsely populated areas.
