Bank of Russia issues new commemorative coins

On 30 November 2017, the Bank of Russia issues commemorative silver coins.

Two coins belong to the series Architectural Monuments of Russia. The reverse side of the coin in denomination of 3 rubles features a relief image of the Saviour Transfiguration Church of the Svensk Monastery, Bryansk Region, against the background of the outline of the monastery. The mintage of the coin is 5000 thousand pcs.

The reverse side of the coin in denomination of 25 rubles depicts a relief image of the Jiten monastery, Tver Region, against the background of the lake and the town of Ostashkov. The mintage of the coin is 1500 thousand pcs.

Yet another commemorative coin in denomination of 25 rubles belongs to the series Architectural Masterpieces of Russia and is devoted to Konstantin Thon. Its reverse side features a relief portrait of Konstantin Thon and the Grand Kremlin Palace against the outline of the Red Square architectural complex. The mintage of the coin is 1000 thousand pcs.
