Bank of Russia website becomes the official publisher of its regulations

On 4 February 2016, a new section Official Publication of Bank of Russia Regulations was added on its website.

In compliance with amendments to the Federal Law ‘On the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia)’ made on 30 December 2015 (426-FZ), the first publication of a regulation in full in the Bank of Russia Bulletin – its official journal – or the first posting on the Bank of Russia website is regarded the official publication of such regulation.

Bank of Russia Ordinance No. 3948-U, dated 28 January 2016, ‘On the Procedure for Calculating a Foreign Interest in Total Authorised Capital of Credit Institutions Licensed to Perform Banking Activities’ was the first document published in the new section.

For readers’ convenience, when publishing in the Bank of Russia Bulletin the documents posted earlier on the website, reference will be made to the date a regulation was posted on the website.
