High-frequency indicators of monetary conditions show diverse trends in April

Yields decreased in the short and medium segments of the OFZ yield curve. Long-term OFZ yields did not change much. Annual growth of money supply somewhat slowed. Households’ inflation expectations declined while businesses’ price expectations slightly rose.
In March, lending activity was higher in part due to better business and consumer sentiment. Household funds in banks continued to grow. High-frequency data show that these trends will continue in April.
