Monitoring businesses: Business Climate Index hits 10-year high

The Bank of Russia’s Business Climate Index rose to 8.3 points in April. The situation in production improved, and companies’ estimates reached the highest level over the past decade. Their current estimates of demand turned positive for the first time since January 2022.
Businesses increased their price expectations in April, just as the month before, although not above the annual averages of the previous two years.
