Bank of Russia to establish operator of automated insurance information system

The Bank of Russia has decided to establish JSC National Insurance Information System (JSC NIIS) that will be the operator of the automated information system (AIS) of insurance.
The AIS of insurance will maintain all records on motor insurance and home emergency insurance agreements. The integration of the databases on various insurance types into a single ecosystem will increase the accuracy and quality of information, provide more comprehensive data on insured persons and property, and promote the creation of new and convenient services for consumers.
Pursuant to law, the Bank of Russia will own 100% of JSC NIIS equity.
