CCC market analysis: sector consolidation

News
The market of consumer credit cooperatives (CCCs) is consolidating gradually. Over the period from 2020 Q3 to the end of 2022 H1, the share of assets held by the top-50 organisations increased to 58%, with their value estimated at 34.1 billion rubles.
As the number of market participants and CCC members was down, the portfolio of CCCs’ loans remained almost unchanged, which was largely associated with the exit of poor-performing organisations. Over 2022 Q2, the portfolio expanded by 3.2% to 44.8 billion rubles. The average loan amounted to 200,000 rubles for individuals and 3.1 million for legal entities.
