News

The Ural Forum will take place in Yekaterinburg on 15–17 February 2023. Its business programme includes 30-plus workshops and several panel discussions, as well as master classes.

The first two sessions of the Forum will be dedicated to cyber risk management and information security of non-bank financial institutions. On this day, event participants will also discuss countering computer attacks and calls from fake numbers, share their experience in conducting cyber training and consider human resource problems.

Combating social engineering techniques will be the main topic of the panel discussion on the second day, which will be held with the participation of the Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina. A strategic document — Guidelines for the Advancement of Information Security in the Financial Sector — will also be presented.

The final day will be devoted, among other things, to issues related to the security of digital and payment technologies, as well as IT outsourcing.

The Ural Forum’s youth programme is scheduled for 13−16 February. Students from all over Russia who have passed the qualifying rounds will join master classes to solve challenging tasks set by experts of leading information security companies.

A rich business programme for the forum participants will be completed by sporting and cultural events.
