Bank of Russia completes formation of regional financial consumer protection centres

News
The Bank of Russia has opened a consumer protection centre in Rostov-on-Don. The centre will handle complaints and requests on a nationwide scale and manage projects to enhance financial literacy. In 2022, such centres have already opened in Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod.
Complaints and requests may be allocated among the centres on the ‘next in line’ basis no matter which region they come from. This allows the centres to immediately respond to an increase in the flow of requests and maintain the same level of quality of their handling.
Employees of the centres are specially trained. A common knowledge base has been created and regularly updated.
