Monitoring sectoral financial flows: higher receipts in November

In November, the amount of incoming payments made through the Bank of Russia payment system rose against the previous month to exceed the average of 2022 Q3 by 3.7%. Payment dynamics across sectors remained diverse and indicative of both structural changes in the economy and a recovery after a short-term slowdown in late September—early October.
In the industries focused on external demand, after a decline in October, the amount of payments recovered in November and approached the average of 2022 Q3. In consumer demand-focused industries, financial payments exceeded the average of 2022 Q3.
