Bank of Russia holds 4th Conference of Suppliers
This year, the conference was attended not only by the representatives of the regulator’s and large financial institutions’ procurement units, but also — for the first time — by the producers of high-tech equipment, including in the sphere of IT, cash circulation and security.
Today, in addition to the standard requirements for suppliers, i.e. ‘time—price—quality’, the issues of the stability of long-term supply of equipment, its technical maintenance and guarantees are coming to the forefront. Mutually beneficial cooperation is based on trust and strategic partnership.
‘New offers from Russian suppliers of high-tech equipment are a today’s priority for us. It is necessary to closely examine them, to be assured of products’ quality, and to understand pricing processes. We resolve all these issues directly, by visiting factories. It is a very useful practice’, stressed Maria Timoshenko, Director of the Procurement Department of the Bank of Russia.
Conference participants also touched upon promising projects and shared plans for the next year.
