Сonsumer prices grоw at slower pace in October

14 November 2022
News

Consumer prices increased by 0.18% over the month. Seasonally adjusted growth of prices edged down to 0.13% against September. Non-food products fell in price following households’ decline in propensity to consume. Prices for several food products decreased due to expanded supply. Contrastingly, prices for services rose, including owing to one-off factors in the passenger transportation market.

In October, annual inflation slowed down again, to 12.63%. The monetary policy stance will pave the way for its further lowering to 5–7% in 2023 and 4% in 2024.

Further details are available in the Bank of Russia’s information and analytical commentary Consumer Price Dynamics.
