Winners of FINOPOLIS 2021/22 youth programme named
This year, more than 1,200 students of leading universities representing different regions of Russia applied for participation in FINOdays. Following the results of the two qualifying rounds, 90 people united into 20 teams participated in the hackathon, the main event of the forum’s youth programme.
The young contestants were to solve within 24 hours test tasks from the largest organisations of the financial and IT markets. The jury, which included Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina, evaluated them by three main criteria: the quality of the solution, the elaboration of the idea and its presentation.
The contest was won by the Father Joseph team. Its members came up with a universal service offering multiple options for customers to pay for goods at stores. The runner-up was the Origin dev team that developed a special system that determines whether a person wears a face mask properly. The second runner-up was the MegaQuant team. Based on advanced analytics, the team built an ideal customer journey from the introduction of a product or a service to their purchase.
In addition to the competition programme, FINOdays participants could join the business part of the forum and thematic workshops conducted by leading fintech and IT experts.
