Statements of all banks to be published on the Bank of Russia website

The Bank of Russia website will publish the statements of all credit institutions irrespective of whether or not the latter expressly give their consent to such disclosure (as was the case before). These changes are due to the implementation of Bank of Russia Ordinance 4515-U, dated 31 August 2017, ‘On the Composition of Information from the Statements of Credit Institutions (Banking Groups) and Procedure for the Bank of Russia to Disclose it’ coming into effect.

New rules will improve market transparency and provide necessary information at a single web resource. They are applicable to statements compiled as of 1 October 2017.

The Ordinance envisages that the Bank of Russia shall disclose ‘The Trial Balance of a Credit Institution’ (Reporting Form 0409101), ‘Credit Institution Performance Statement’ (Reporting Form 0409102), ‘Own Funds (Capital) Calculation (Basel III)’ (Reporting Form 0409123) and ‘Information on Credit Institutions’ Required Ratios and Other Performance Indicators’ (Reporting Form 0409135) within 18 business days from the reporting date.

Additionally, the Bank of Russia website will publish the following reporting forms (not disclosed previously): ‘Consolidated Balance Sheet’ (0409802), ‘Consolidated Statement of Financial Performance’ (0409803) and ‘Calculation of Own Funds (Capital) and Required Ratios by a Banking Group’ (0409805). These and other reporting forms will be disclosed by the Bank of Russia within the timeframe set forth by the Ordinance.
