Inflation expectations rise among households and continue to decrease among businesses

Households’ inflation expectations were up in August 2022, while staying within the range of April—July. The median estimate of inflation expected in the next 12 months reached 12.0%.
Businesses’ short-term price expectations continued to trend downwards, returning to the levels of mid-2020.
