By tradition, FINOPOLIS will be opened by Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina.
Participants of the first plenary session, titled ‘Life before and after —— covidsurfing’, will discuss digitalisation and new business models, as well as the new opportunities for consumers and businesses that digitalisation brings. Digitalisation drivers and digital platforms will feature on another plenary session titled ‘Digital wings: how to rise without falling’.
On day 2, plenary session participants will focus on the impact of ecosystems on market mechanisms (‘Ecosystems: walled gardens’) and discuss the evolution of currencies in today’s world (‘The evolution of currencies. CBDC. Digital ruble’). The forum is due to conclude on 12 November with a discussion of digitalisation in the context of a green economy —— ‘Green economy and digitalisation: together or apart?’.
The programme includes over 20 sessions and round tables to cover a wide range of fintech topics ranging from cybersecurity to quantum effects.
FINOdays, the forum’s Youth Programme, will also be held between 8 and 12 November. Participants of its core event, Hackathon, will present solutions to partner cases.
On the days of FINOPOLIS 2021, visitors are invited to an exhibition of the latest technology developments of the forum's fintech partners. Some developments can be tested onsite in the interactive city FINOLAND.
Sports fans will be offered a special programme with a traditional race and a hockey match among others.
