The Bank of Russia’s services to be accessible via public services portal

12 May 2017
News

The Bank of Russia will render its services to individuals and legal entities via the Common Government Services Portal. The respective amendments were suggested by the Bank of Russia and approved by Government Decree No. 525, dated 4 May 2017, and Government Executive Order No. 865-r, dated 4 May 2017.

It will be possible to send the necessary notifications required to comply with laws on information disclosure on the securities market, including notifications from shareholders, persons exercising voting authority, and issuer-controlled organisations to the Bank of Russia electronically. Similarly, notifications may be sent by persons entitled to manage at least 10 percent of voting shares of certain categories of non-bank financial institutions (NFI) in the same way.

Moreover, the public services portal will allow users to obtain certified copies from individual public registers and NFI licence registers, as well as registers of other persons, actuaries, certified persons, etc. The Portal will provide access to information from the Central Catalogue of Credit Histories about the bureau keeping a citizen’s credit history on file.

This platform will help accelerate service provision by the Bank of Russia and make it considerably more convenient. The list of services is projected to be expanded in the future.

The new services will become accessible upon completion of all the necessary technological work carried out to set them up on the portal.
