Larisa Pavlova retires from the Bank of Russia on 30 January 2026.

Larisa Pavlova has worked for the Bank of Russia for over 40 years. During her professional career, she held various positions from an economist at a branch of the USSR State Bank to the Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch of the Bank of Russia and a member of the Bank of Russia Board of Directors.

‘Larisa Pavlova is a highly skilled professional and a brilliant organiser. She has a unique ability to gather talented people in her team and create an environment in which everyone can achieve their full potential and reach the top of their profession. Therefore, first Omsk and then Volga-Vyatka became true talent factories for the Bank of Russia. In the most difficult situations, when a leader has to make a difficult choice, Larisa Pavlova has always been compassionate and empathetic towards her colleagues, which is a rare and invaluable quality of a true leader. She is open to new ideas, unafraid to propose new initiatives, and willingly assumes responsibility for their implementation. I am grateful to Larisa Pavlova for her work, her wise leadership, and firm foundations for the future that she has been creating day after day for so many years,’ noted Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina.

Vladimir Egorov has been appointed Acting Head of the Volga-Vyatka Main Branch of the Bank of Russia.
