Powers of Financial Ombudsman Tatyana Savitskaya extended

On 24 October 2025, the Bank of Russia Board of Directors decided to extend the powers of Tatyana Savitskaya as the Financial Consumer Ombudsman in Credit Cooperation, Insurance, and Credit Institutions’, Pawnshops’, and Non-governmental Pension Funds’ Operations from 1 January 2026.

Pursuant to Federal Law No. 123-FZ, dated 4 June 2018, ‘On the Financial Consumer Ombudsman’, a Financial Ombudsman is appointed by the Bank of Russia Board of Directors, as advised by the Chief Financial Ombudsman, for five years. Tatyana Savitskaya was first appointed Financial Ombudsman on 1 January 2021.
