On activity of PC-Bank LLC

The provisional administration of the Nizhny Novgorod-based credit institution Professional Credit Bank, limited liability company, or PC-Bank LLC, appointed by Bank of Russia Order No. OD-3577, dated 19 December 2014, due to the revocation of its banking licence, encountered an obstruction of its activity starting the first day of performing its functions.

The former management and owners of PC-Bank LLC failed to provide access to the bank premises and the required documents and property of the bank to the provisional administration.

The inspection of the bank premises showed lack of documents, including documents of title for the bank’s assets, primary accounting records, employee records, and electronic media (servers) to store information on the assets and liabilities of the credit institution and their movements.

The Bank of Russia has submitted the information on the obstruction of the activity of the provisional administration bearing the evidence of the criminal offence to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation and to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for consideration and procedural decision making.
