On meeting of Advisory Board on NPS Development under the Bank of Russia Governor

The meeting of the Advisory Board on the National Payment System Development under the Bank of Russia Governor discussed the implementation of the guidelines for the strategy for developing the national payment system, improving Russian NPS legislation, establishing prospective Bank of Russia payment system, and working out the National Payment Initiative roadmap.

Along with other decisions, the participants in the meeting recognised it appropriate to recommend the non-profit partnership National Payment Council and the National Payment Council Association to provide proposals on improving Russian NPS legislation, and the National Payment Council Association to prepare the National Payment Initiative roadmap with the involvement of the concerned organisations and in cooperation with federal executive authorities.
