Obverse
in the centre of the disc there is the denomination of the coin ‘10 РУБЛЕЙ’ (10 RUBLES), inside the figure ‘0’ there is a hidden number ‘10’ and an inscription ‘РУБ’ (RUB) visible by turns when the angle of vision changes, below is a mint trade mark; on the ring above there is an inscription ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), below is the year of issue ‘2020’, on the left and on the right there are stylised images of plant branches going over to the disc.
Reverse
there is a relief image of the emblem of the Moscow Region encircled by inscriptions, divided by dots: ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) on top and ‘МОСКОВСКАЯ ОБЛАСТЬ’ (MOSCOW REGION) at the bottom.

The Moscow Region is a constituent territory of the Russian Federation. It belongs to the Central Federal District; it has a population of over 7.5 million living in an area of 44.3 thousand square kilometres. It was established in 1929.
The Moscow Region has the second largest budget of any constituent territory of the Russian Federation. The industry and overall economy of the region are developing at advanced speed: roughly 100 new and upgraded enterprises are launched every year.
The region boasts one of the largest scientific and technological complexes in Russia. The research organisations of the region mainly belong to the public sector, with more than a half of them operating within the military-industrial complex.
There are several important research enterprises of the aerospace industry in the region, including the Mission Control Centres in Korolev and Krasnoznamensk, and a number of test facilities.
The tourism industry is actively growing in the Moscow Region. The regional spa and health complex includes over a thousand recreational facilities (health resorts, holiday and boarding guesthouses, and children’s health camps).
