in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed bу а circle of dots and inscriptions, above - the denomination: "ДЕСЯТЬ ТЫСЯЧ РУБЛЕЙ" (TEN THOUSAND RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal, its fineness and the mint trade mark, in the centre – the уеаr of issue "2013 г." (2013), to the right - the fine metal content and the ordinal number sign of the coin №___.

Reverse

in the lower part of the disc – the relief picture of the ceremony of hoisting the Russian Saint Andrew flag in the mouth of Amur River by the members of the expedition, to the left – the monument to G.I. Nevelskoy in Vladivostok, in the background behind a stripe of water surface, to the left – a sector of seashore, to the right – a sailing vessel, behind them – the map of the eastern end of the Eurasian continent with Sakhalin and Kuryle Islands, above along the rim – the inscription: "ЭКСПЕДИЦИИ Г.И. НЕВЕЛЬСКОГО 1848-1855" (RESEARCH EXPEDITIONS OF G.I. NEVELSKOY).
