Nevelskoy in Vladivostok, in the background behind a stripe of water surface, to the left – a sector of seashore, to the right – a sailing vessel, behind them – the map of the eastern end of the Eurasian continent with Sakhalin and Kuryle Islands, above along the rim – the inscription: "ЭКСПЕДИЦИИ Г.И. НЕВЕЛЬСКОГО 1848-1855" (RESEARCH EXPEDITIONS OF G.I. NEVELSKOY).
