The Moscow Kremlin and Red Square
Obverse
in the centre – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top – «ПЯТЬДЕСЯТ РУБЛЕЙ» (FIFTY RUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2006», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
against the background of Moscow’s outlines: to the left – the Tsar Bell, to the right – the Tsar Cannon. The inscription on the matted field at the top along the rim – «МОСКОВСКИЙ КРЕМЛЬ И КРАСНАЯ ПЛОЩАДЬ» (THE MOSCOW KREMLIN AND RED SQUARE), at the bottom – stylized image of the fortress wall, towers and church cupolas.

The Tsar Bell, cast in 1733-1735 by craftsmen Ivan Motorin and his son Michael, and the Tsar Cannon, cast in 1586 by craftsman Andrew Chokhov, are the monuments of the Russian casting art exhibited in the Moscow Kremlin.
