Obverse

in the centre – the Emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, lower – the semicircular inscription – «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim: at the top – «ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ» (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), at the bottom – the year of issue «2006», the letters to the left indicate the metal sign and the fineness, to the right – the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

in the frame work of two wooden carved columns, situated on either side, and of two entry towers at the bottom – images of a windmill to the left, a two-storied peasant’s house to the right, a church and a wooden covering as a foot–way in the centre, in the background – a tract of forest. The inscription at the top along the rim on the matted surface: «МАЛЫЕ КOРЕЛЫ» (MALYE KORELY).

The Arkhangelsk State Museum of Wooden Architecture and Folk Art «Malyye Korely» is situated in the open air 25 kilometers away from the city of Arkhangelsk up-stream of the Severnaya (Northern) Dvina River. It is entered into the List of the UNESCO World Heritage.
