The 100th Anniversary of the International Child Centre ‘Artek’
Obverse
a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, above it along the rim the inscription in a semicircle ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed with paired diamonds on both sides, under the coat of arms are the chemical symbol and fineness of the metal on the left and fine metal content and the mint mark on the right, at the bottom centre in three lines are the inscription ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the coin denomination ‘3 РУБЛЯ’ (3 RUBLES), and the year of issue ‘2025 г.’ (2025).
Reverse
a coloured element of the logo of the International Child Centre ‘Artek’ against the background of an image of the Ayu-Dag mountain, laser treated for matte finishing; and the relief inscriptions below ‘МЕЖДУНАРОДНЫЙ ДЕТСКИЙ ЦЕНТР АРТЕК’ (INTERNATIONAL CHILD CENTRE ‘ARTEK’) around the circumference and ‘100’ above it.

Artek is located on the Black Sea coast 12 km away from the city of Yalta in the town of Gurzuf (Crimea). Artek was founded in 1925 as a small summer camp. Today, it incorporates nine children’s camps with a developed infrastructure. In 2016, the International Child Centre Artek was included in the Russian Rating of Children’s Camps as the best Russian camp.
