in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ТРИ РУБЛЯ" (THREE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2013 г." (2013), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

Reverse

on the mirror field of the disc to the left - the relief portrait of A.S. Shein with the saber in his hand, to the right at the rim - the relief image of a fortress, to the right above - the inscription along the rim: "А.С. ШЕИН" (A.S. SHEIN), below - dates: "1662" and "1700", in the background - the sailing vessel on the smooth sea surface.
