Valery Kazarin

Born on 7 April 1987 in Tambov.

Education

2008: graduated from the Tambov State Technical University with a degree in computer-aided design.

2009: received the qualification of economist-manager in the same university.

Career

He joined the Bank of Russia in 2008.

2008–2014: Engineer at the Tambov Division of the Bank of Russia Main Branch for the Central Federal District.

2014–2015: Lead Engineer and then Chief Engineer of the Bank of Russia’s Information Technology Centre.

2015–2016: Chief Engineer and then Chief Expert of the Bank of Russia’s Information Technology Department.

2016–2017: Consultant, Deputy Head and then Head of the Process Office of the Bank of Russia’s Department of Financial Technology, Projects and Processes.

2018–2023: Director of the Bank of Russia’s Projects and Processes Department.

From 1 March 2023: Deputy Governor of the Bank of Russia.
