Ekaterina Abasheeva

Born in 1983 in Moscow.

Education

2005: graduated from the Moscow University for the Humanities.

2011: received a master’s degree in jurisprudence from the Private Law Research Centre.

Career

2004–2011: various positions from Specialist to Head of Legal at Industrial Savings Bank.

Since November 2011: civil service as the Chief Adviser of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, was awarded the civil service rank of State Counsellor of Justice 3rd Class.

2014: joined the Bank of Russia and held various positions such as Chief Expert, Consultant, Head of Section, Head of Expert Group, Deputy Head of Division in the Financial Market Development Department.

2017–2019: Head of Division in the Financial Market Strategy Department.

2019–2022: Deputy Director of the Insurance Market Department.

November 2022: appointed as Deputy Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department.

August 2023: appointed as acting Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department.

November 2023: appointed as acting Director of the Corporate Affairs Department.

January 2024: appointed as Director of the Corporate Affairs Department.
