The 100th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Republic of Adygeya

Obverse

a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and a semicircular inscription above it along the rim: ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed with paired diamonds on both sides, under the coat of arms there are the chemical symbol of the metal and fineness on the left and fine metal content and the mint trade mark on the right, at the bottom in the centre, in three lines, there is an inscription: ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the coin denomination: ‘3 РУБЛЯ’ (3 RUBLES), and the year of issue: ‘2022 г.’ (2022).

Reverse

a relief image, as well as images laser treated for matte finishing, of compositional elements of the emblem of the Republic of Adygeya; there are inscriptions: ‘РЕСПУБЛИКА АДЫГЕЯ’ (REPUBLIC OF ADYGEYA) below along the rim, and ‘100 ЛЕТ’ (100 YEARS) in two lines on the right.

The Republic of Adygeya is located in the centre of the Northwest Caucasus. It was established as the Adygeya Autonomous Region on 27 July 1922 as part of the Krasnodar and Maykop Districts of the Kuban-Black Sea Region.

Adygeya is a multinational republic with more than 100 ethnic groups. The Adyghe, who gave the name to the republic, are the most ancient people of the Northwest Caucasus.
