CCC market meets pent-up demand: results over nine months

This increase was associated with, among other things, seasonal factors and a lower amount of loans provided in Q2 following the introduction in April of the requirements for operations with maternity (family) capital. The list of CCCs complying with these requirements is available on the Bank of Russia website.

The market concentration increased as small and non-operating companies and their unit holders were leaving the market. However, the loan portfolio slightly expanded to ₽45.7 billion. Concurrently, the proportion of the Top 50 companies edged up by 3 pp over the past year, to reach 60%. Besides, new borrowers continued to enter the market: in 2022–2023, their share rose from 39% to 46%.
