Obverse

a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, above it along the rim the inscription in a semicircle ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed with paired diamonds on both sides, under the coat of arms are the chemical symbol and fineness of the metal on the left and fine metal content and the mint mark on the right, at the bottom centre in three lines are the inscription ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the coin denomination ‘25 РУБЛЕЙ’ (25 RUBLES), and the year of issue ‘2025 г.’ (2025).

Reverse

a relief image of the brooch Rose and the inscription ‘АЛМАЗНЫЙ ФОНД РОССИИ’ (THE DIAMOND FUND OF RUSSIA) on the left around the upper circumference.

The life-size platinum rose covered with diamonds, which is world-famous, is a piece of jewellery created by Viktor Nikolaev and Gennady Aleksakhin from the Experimental Jewellery Laboratory of the State Institution on Formation of the State Fund of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of the Russian Federation, Storage, Release and Use of Precious Metals and Precious Stones (Gokhran of Russia) Under the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation. This unique work of art is encrusted with 1,466 diamonds. The rose petals are joined in the centre with a secret spring mechanism, which makes them quiver, enhancing the play of light within the gems.
