Obverse
in the centre - the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it - the semicircular inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim - on top: "ДВАДЦАТЬ ПЯТЬ РУБЛЕЙ" (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left - indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre - the year of issue "2012 г." (2012), to the right - the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.
Reverse
on the mirror field of the coin disc - scene from the partisan movement in autumn 1812: two captive soldiers are getting warm at a bonfire in surrounding of four partisans armed with a rifle, an axe and a bear-spear, one of them is sitting on the horseback. Below - a shako over crossed weapon, standards and army accouterments, under them - inscription along the rim: "ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА 1812 ГОДА" (THE PATRIOTIC WAR OF 1812).
