Obverse
the mirror field of the disc bears a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, over it along the rim there is the semicircular inscription "РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ" (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) framed on both sides by doubled rhombuses, below under the coat of arms there are indications of the precious metal and its fineness on the left and the fine metal content and the mint trade mark on the right, at the bottom in the centre, in three lines, there is an inscription "БАНК РОССИИ" (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coin "3 РУБЛЯ" (3 RUBLES), and the year of issue "2019 г." (2019).
Reverse
the mirror field of the disc against the stripe coloured as the flag of Bashkortostan depicts relief images of the monument to Salavat Yulaev and articles symbolising historic and cultural authenticity of the Bashkirs; in the background there are stylised compositions of objects symbolising the multinational population and the developed economy of Bashkortostan; at the bottom there is a horizontal inscription: "100 ЛЕТ" (100 YEARS) and a semicircular inscription: "РЕСПУБЛИКА БАШКОРТОСТАН" (THE REPUBLIC OF BASHKORTOSTAN).

The Republic of Bashkortostan is a constituent territory of the Russian Federation situated in the South Urals on the border between Europe and Asia. The republic was founded on 23 March 1919. Its capital is Ufa.
The Bashkirs, the republic’s native population, are one of the ancient Eurasian nationalities; this ethnic group has lived in the South Urals as far back as the first half of the first millennium AD. Today’s Bashkortostan is a multinational region and home to over one hundred nationalities. 36.3 per cent of the republic’s population are ethnic Russians, 29.8 per cent are Bashkirs, and 24.1 per cent are Tatars. The republic is also home to Chuvashs, Maris, Ukrainians, Mordva, Germans, and other nationalities.
Bashkortostan is one of the leading industrial and agricultural regions in Russia. The republic is one of the country’s key oil producing regions, and the centre of the chemical industry and machine building.
