Education

1998: graduated from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in economics.

Has a good command of English and German.

Career

2000: started his career at the Bank of Russia.

2009–2012: the Bank of Russia’s representative in the Macroprudential Supervision Group of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision.

2013—April 2021: Director of the Systematically Important Banks Supervision Department.

Since April 2021: Director of the Financial Market Strategy Department.

Since February 2023: Director of the International Settlements Department.
