Bogdan Shablya to head Financial Monitoring and Foreign Exchange Control Department from 5 February

By the Order of the Bank of Russia Governor, effective 5 February 2024, Bogdan Shablya has been appointed as Director of the Financial Monitoring and Foreign Exchange Control Department. He previously headed the Service for Ongoing Banking Supervision.
Ilya Yasinskiy, former Director of the Financial Monitoring and Foreign Exchange Control Department, leaves the Bank of Russia on 4 February 2024.
Deputy Head of the Service for Ongoing Banking Supervision Alexey Sharlay has been appointed Acting Head of the Service, with effect from 5 February 2024.
