Information on activity of JSC JSCB Konstans-Bank

The provisional administration of JSC JSCB Konstans-Bank appointed by Bank of Russia Order No. OD-2523, dated 5 August 2016, following revocation of its banking licence in the course of examination of the bank’s financial standing has confirmed the fact detected by the Bank of Russia of cash shortage in JSC JSCB Konstans-Bank cash department worth 2.9 billion rubles which accounts for about 70% of the bank’s assets.

The provisional administration is still in the process of examining the bank’s standing to establish the amount of JSC JSCB Konstans-Bank liabilities and real value of its assets.

The Bank of Russia has submitted the information on the financial transactions bearing the evidence of criminal offences conducted by the former management and owners of JSC JSCB Konstans-Bank to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for consideration and procedural decision making.
