The obverse of the coins features a relief image of the National Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation and the inscriptions ‘РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ’ (RUSSIAN FEDERATION) and ‘БАНК РОССИИ’ (BANK OF RUSSIA), the denomination of the coins ‘2 РУБЛЯ’ (2 RUBLES), the year of issue ‘2022 г.’ (2022), the chemical symbol of the metal according to Mendeleev’s Periodic Table of Elements, fineness, the St. Petersburg Mint trademark, and fine metal content.
The reverse of:
— the coin ‘Taraxacum leucoglossum’ features an image of dandelion Taraxacum leucoglossum, with its flowers cast in relief with colour printing thereon, the leaves, the flower bud, the stem and the roots cast using the technology of colour printing on the flat surface, and a relief image of stones — in the foreground; images of the dandelion and soil laser-treated for matte finishing — in the background; and the relief inscription ‘ОДУВАНЧИК БЕЛОЯЗЫЧКОВЫЙ’ (TARAXACUM LEUCOGLOSSUM) around the upper circumference.
