Information on PJSC JSCB Baltika operations
The provisional administration to manage PJSC JSCB Baltika, hereinafter referred to as the bank, as appointed in accordance with Bank of Russia Order No. OD-3289, dated 24 November 2015, following the revocation of a banking licence from the bank, has from day one been faced up with obstruction of its operations.
With the bank’s credit portfolio amounting to 13.3 billion rubles, its former management failed to transfer to the provisional administration original copies of credit files for loans worth of 10.7 billion rubles. The provisional administration has established signs of a shell company in the operations related to borrowers whose data are kept at the bank.
Furthermore, not submitted to the provisional administration were agreements of assignment of claims in respect of good debt of 4.4 billion rubles, and neither were title documentation for securities and real estate, which are on the books of the bank, of 2.5 billion rubles of total value.
The Bank of Russia has submitted the information on the former executives’ and owners’ actions indicative of criminal financial operations to the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for consideration and procedural decision making.
