On Week of Financial Literacy in Crimean Federal District
From 17 November till 21 November 2014, the Bank of Russia is running a Week of Financial Literacy in the Crimean Federal District.
Within the project, Bank of Russia specialists from Moscow, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Simferopol and Sevastopol will deliver trainings and answer the audience’s questions on a wide range of issues on domestic banking sector. Experts from the Deposit Insurance Agency, Association of Regional Banks of Russia, Association of Russian Banks and National Payments Council invited by the Bank of Russia will also deliver trainings.
People of the Crimean Peninsula will familiarise themselves with Russian banking laws, discover bank products, specifics of cash circulation and non-cash payments, deposit insurance system, foreign exchange control rules, personal finance management and household budget planning. Workshops on the history of banking and exchange are envisaged.
The event is addressed to schoolchildren, orphanage residents, students and teachers, employees of enterprises and organisations of the Crimean Peninsula.
The Week of Financial Literacy starts in Simferopol on 17 November and is to continue in Yevpatoria, Yalta, and other locations and is to finish in Sevastopol on 21 November.
