On the procedure for submitting the register of liabilities to creditors and depositors in compliance with the Federal Law ‘On the Specifics of the Functioning of the Republic of Crimea’s and the Federal City of Sevastopol’s Financial System in the Transition Period’

With regard to credit institutions’ inquiries concerning the procedure for submitting the register of liabilities to creditors and depositors in compliance with Clause 5 of Supplement 1 to Bank of Russia Order No. OD-525 ‘On the Bank of Russia’s Demand to submit the Register of Liabilities to Creditors and Depositors in Compliance with the Federal Law ‘On the Specifics of the Functioning of the Republic of Crimea’s and the Federal City of Sevastopol’s Financial System in the Transition Period’’ (hereinafter, Bank of Russia Order No. OD-525), the Bank of Russia communicates the following.

According to Bank of Russia Order No. OD-525, banks registered on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and (or) the territory of the federal city of Sevastopol and licensed by the National Bank of Ukraine valid as of 16 March 2014, located on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and (or) the territory of the federal city of Sevastopol, as well as branches, divisions and other structural units located on the territory of the Republic of Crimea and (or) the territory of the federal city of Sevastopol through which banks licensed by the National Bank of Ukraine valid as of 16 March 2014 and located in places other than the territory of the Republic of Crimea and (or) the territory of the federal city of Sevastopol conduct their operations on the said territories (hereinafter, credit institutions), are obliged within 15 calendar days from the day of receiving the demand to submit the register of liabilities to creditors and depositors (hereinafter, the demand) to submit to the Bank of Russia the register in accordance with the form of Supplement 3 to Bank of Russia Order No. OD-525.

In case of impossibility to meet the demand from the technical point of view, credit institutions are entitled to submit to the Bank of Russia Regional Branch for the Krasnodar Territory information on liabilities to depositors as of the end of the operational day of 1 April 2014 in a simplified form, i.e. without indicating the name, surname, address of residence or location, as well as details of the identification document.
