National Financial Board holds regular meeting

The National Financial Board (NFB) held a meeting on 14 December 2016 to consider Monetary Policy Guidelines for 2017-2019 and information from the Bank of Russia Board of Directors on the key issues of activity in the third quarter of 2016.

The NFB approved of volumes of expenditures on Bank of Russia employees, pension insurance, life insurance and medical insurance of Bank of Russia employees, capital investment, and other administrative and economic expenditures of the Bank of Russia for 2017.

The NFB considered information on the development of the National Payment Card System, the Bank of Russia’s IT Strategy for 2016— 2020, and the report on the activity of the Bank of Russia Chief Auditor Service in 2016.

The meeting approved of certain Bank of Russia regulations concerning accounting at the Bank of Russia.
