On October 9, 2014 the Central Bank of the Russian Federation issues commemorative coins of:

Description of the coins of precious metals:
A silver proof coin in denomination of 3 Roubles (fine metal content 31,1 g, fineness 925/1000, diameter 39,0 mm, mintage 5000 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin «ТРИ РУБЛЯ» (THREE ROUBLES) and the year of issue «2014», between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Saint Petersburg mint and fine precious metal content.

The reverse sideof the coin bearsrelief images of the front side of Gostiny Dvor in Orenburg and a part of the entrance gates on top and to the left of it. There are inscriptions — «ГОСТИНЫЙ ДВОР» (GOSTINY DVOR) on top and «ОРЕНБУРГ» (ORENBURG) at the bottom.

A gold proof coin in denomination of 1000 Roubles (fine metal content 155,5 g, fineness 999/1000, diameter 50,0 mm, mintage 250 pcs), has the rim raised on both sides of the coin along the circumference. The edge of the coin is corrugated.
The obverse: a relief image of the Emblem of the Bank of Russia — a two-headed eagle with wings down, and a semicircular inscription under it «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), framed with a circle of beads. Inscriptions along the rim divided by dots indicate the denomination of the coin «ОДНА ТЫСЯЧА РУБЛЕЙ» (ONE THOUSAND ROUBLES) and the year of issue «2014», between them there is an indication of the metal according to the D.I. Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements, purity, trade mark of the Moscow mint and fine precious metal content.

The reverse sideof the coin depictsrelief images of the Russian Empire coat of arms, the «Barrister» symbol to the left of it and the «Justice of the Peace» symbol to the right of it. Below them there are: a Judicial Regulations title-page with an inscription «СУДЕБНЫЕ УСТАВЫ 20 НОЯБРЯ 1864 ГОДА» (JUDICIAL REGULATIONS 20TH OF NOVEMBER 1864) in three lines on it, a scroll with Alexander II monogram and his apophthegm «ПРАВДА И МИЛОСТЬ ДА ЦАРСТВУЮТ В СУДАХ» (LET TRUTH AND MERCY REIGN IN COURTS), a «Bailiff’s Case» folder and a «Civil Legal Proceedings Regulations» title-page. On the left and on the right there are figures of a judge, a barrister, a public prosecutor and a defendant with an escort. There is an inscription along the circumference on top — «150 ЛЕТ ЭПОХЕ ВЕЛИКИХ РЕФОРМ» (150TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT REFORMS EPOCH).

Description of the coins of base metals:
Coins in denomination of 10 Roubles are 22.0 mm in diameter, yellow in colour and have the rim raised on both sides of the coins along the circumference. The edge of the coins is corrugated, each section contains different number of corrugations alternating with smooth sections.The obverse: in the upper part of the coins there is an inscription along the circumference: «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA), in the lower part — the year of issue «2014». On the left and on the right there are stylized images of laurel and oak branches respectively. In the center of the disc there is an indication of the face value of the coins «10 РУБЛЕЙ» (10 ROUBLES) in two lines. Inside the figure «0» there is a protective element in the form of the figure «10» and an inscription «РУБ» (RUB) visible when changing angles of vision. In the lower part of the disc there is a trademark of a mint.

The reverse side:
of the coin «Anapa» has a relief image of Anapa emblem. There are inscriptions along the circumference — «ГОРОДА ВОИНСКОЙ СЛАВЫ» (TOWNS OF MARTIAL GLORY) on top and «АНАПА» (ANAPA) at the bottom;

of the coin «Republic of Crimea» has a relief image of the Crimean architecture monument — «Swallow’s Nest» castle against the background of the Crimean peninsula contours. There are inscriptions — a date «18.03.2014», «РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ» (THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION) along the circumference on top and «РЕСПУБЛИКА КРЫМ» (REPUBLIC OF CRIMEA) at the bottom;

of the coin «Sevastopol» has a relief image of the monument to «Sunk Ships» in Sevastopol against the background of the Crimean peninsula contours with a location mark of Sevastopol on it, performed in a form of a five-pointed star. There are inscriptions — a date «18.03.2014», «РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ» (THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION) along the circumference on top and «СЕВАСТОПОЛЬ» (SEVASTOPOL) at the bottom.

The mintage of the coins is 10000000 pcs of each design.
Coins in denomination of 5 Roubles are 25.0 mm in diameter, white in colour and have the rim raised on both sides of the coins along the circumference. The edge of the coins is corrugated.
The obverse: in the center of the disc there is an indication of the face value of the coins «5 РУБЛЕЙ» (5 ROUBLES) in two lines. There is an inscription below — «БАНК РОССИИ» (BANK OF RUSSIA) and the year of issue «2014» under it. On the left and on the right there is a stylized image of a plant branch. In the right part of the disc there is a trademark of a mint.

The reverse side:
of the first coin has a relief image of the «Motherland» sculpture in Piskaryovsky Memorial in Saint Petersburg. There are inscriptions along the circumference —
«БИТВА ЗА ЛЕНИНГРАД» (THE BATTLE OF LENINGRAD) and «ВЕЛИКАЯ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА

of the second coin has a relief image of a part of the
«Mound of Glory» memorial in the Smolevichi region of the Republic of Belarus. There are inscriptions along the circumference —

of the third coin has a relief image of a part of the

of the fourth coin has a relief image of the monument to soldiers who liberated Kishinev from Nazi troops erected in Kishinev. There are inscriptions along the circumference —
«ЯССКО-КИШИНЕВСКАЯ ОПЕРАЦИЯ» (JASSY-KISHINEV CAMPAIGN) and «ВЕЛИКАЯ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННАЯ ВОЙНА

The mintage of the coins is 2000000 pcs of each design.
