Bank of Russia to postpone transition to using credit ratings in liquidity providing operations

For credit institutions to preserve the opportunities to raise liquidity, the Bank of Russia will postpone the date of transition to using information on the credit ratings of credit institutions — the Bank of Russia’s counterparties in the course of repos and collateralised loan transactions from 1 April 2022 to 1 January 2023.

The Bank of Russia will introduce the relevant amendments to its regulations.
