Publication of data on non-resident investment in Russian Eurobonds

Seeking to expand the structure of information used to analyse the national economy’s resilience to external risks, the Bank of Russia begins to publish data on the debt to non-residents under the bonded loans of the Russian Federation placed in international capital markets (known as Russian Eurobonds) and on the share of non-residents in the structure of owners of the said debt securities.

This information is placed on the Bank of Russia website in the section Statistics/ Macroeconomic Financial Statistics/ External Sector Statistics, under the heading External Debt Compiled under the Methodology of the 6th Editions of ‘Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual’ (BPM6). This section will also contain publications on the statistics of non-resident investment in federal government bonds.
