Historical chapters: military cash offices of the USSR State Bank during the Great Patriotic War

Bank officers made all the way to Berlin with soviet military forces. Soldiers needed to receive money allowances, transfer money home, and make payments in mobile shops… As many as 598 military cash offices ensured uninterrupted servicing of military units by delivering cash under gunfire, shelling and bombing.
